PHOTOGRAPHY

My passion for photography ignited on a family holiday trip where I was gifted a disposable camera. From that moment on, I was hooked. My parents further fueled my passion by giving me older point-and-shoot cameras to experiment with. My 16th birthday marked a turning point when I received a DSLR camera, which I took with me to high school in Canada. The photography class I took there taught me how to use my camera to its full potential and elevated my skills to a whole new level.

The past few years have seen me fall in love with the art of analog photography, embracing the tangible and unpredictable nature of film. While I still shoot digitally when required, nothing compares to the thrill and excitement of capturing memories on film. Photography is not just a hobby for me, it's a true passion that continues to evolve and inspire me every day.

FILMMAKING

Fueled by a deep-seated passion for filmmaking, I embarked on a journey that started during my high school days abroad in British Columbia in 2014/2015. The videography class I took was a turning point for me, as I discovered my true calling. I was taught the art of rack focusing using Canon kit lenses and that experience laid the foundation for my future endeavors. In 2017, I made a bold move and dropped out of German high school to follow my dreams. I joined forces with Philipp Baben der Erde, one of the most accomplished German directors of photography, and worked as his assistant camera. This opportunity opened doors for me and led me to Territory, where I underwent an intense apprenticeship to become an audiovisual media designer.

With my hard work and determination, I was able to graduate with flying colors and now, as a freelancer in the film industry, I am living my dreams every day. I am always on the lookout for new challenges and opportunities to grow and hone my craft. Additionally, I am grateful to assist the Camera, Lighting, and Grip departments and make valuable contributions to the industry.
